What solutions

do we have?

As of 2020, Agriculture accounts for an estimated 18.4% of Global Emissions. Unlike others, Agriculture as an industry has not only the opportunity to reduce it's global impact, but if done right, has the potential to sequester and reverse the effects.

“The solution is farming. Not just business-as-usual industrial farming, but farming like the Earth matters. Farming like water and soil and land matter. Farming like clean air matters. Farming like human health, animal health and ecosystem health matters. Farming in a way that restores and even improves our soil’s natural ability to hold carbon. This kind of farming is called regenerative organic agriculture and it is the short-term solution to climate change we need to implement today.” - Rodale Institute

REGENERATIVE ORGANIC

AGRICULTURE (ROA)

Regenerative Organic Agriculture is a global movement with a set of practices that enables farmers to care for their land, animals, people, and also sequester carbon in the atmosphere.

The prominent leader at the moment is the Regenerative Organic Alliance which is responsible for researching and certifying regenerative agriculture practices.

Regenerative Organic Certification builds off the framework of many already existing certifications such as USD A Organic, Certified Humane, Fair Trade, and others alike.

Despite the Cannabis’s Industry inability to become certified due to political, legal, and social reasons. It does not mean it should not uphold the values and spirit of the times.

IT IS TIME TO DEVELOP AND ESTABLISH BETTER PRACTICES THAT WILL ENSURE THE LONGEVITY OF THE INDUSTRY AND GLOBAL HEALTH AT LARGE.
